A candy table fails in one of two ways: everything is the same colour, or everything is the same shape. Fix both and it looks deliberate.
Start with height
Put the biggest bags at the back and use boxes or cake stands underneath. Three levels is plenty.
Then contrast
Pair a sour bag with an old-fashioned one. Pair something bright with something dark. A tray of nothing but red gummies reads as a mistake; a tray of red, orange and green reads as a decision.
Size it honestly
A 2 lb sharing bag covers roughly twenty people taking a small handful each. For a party of forty, two big bags and three smaller ones beats six of the same thing.
Try it yourself
Every bag is packed to order in Florida and ships within one business day.
